£59.00 each

This ingenious and affordable product solves the problem of seeing in your shed or cabin at night. It is easy to install with no mains wiring. It costs nothing to run and the light stays on for up to 4 hours per night if needed. During the day the externally mounted solar panel converts daylight into electricity and recharges the batteries. The light features 2 bright 8 Watt fluorescent tubes. It is powered by a high quality 1.5 Watt solar panel. The switch is illuminated with a night light for convenience.

The solar panel is weatherproof and suitable for outside use. It is normally positioned on the wall of a timber building such as a shed or a log cabin. It is not suitable for greenhouses. A built in compass helps to locate the best position and angle. The cable supplied is only a few millimeters thick so it will pass through a narrow gap. The fluorescent tubes and rechargeable batteries are also included together with all fixings and instructions.

At full charge the light will stay on for around 4 hours. Running time depends on the exposure of the panel to the sun and it varies with the seasons. Longer summer days provide the best charge. Sunny weather provides more charge than cloudy weather. For maximum running time the solar panel should be positioned in full sunlight away from cover or shade.
