This 36 LED shed light is great for adding lighting to a shed, garage, summerhouse or other outbuilding quickly and easily. A selection of 3 levels of brightness gives a generous amount of light with zero running costs. It is IP44 rated for good moisture resistance.
The cable to the remote solar panel is 5m (16'5") long, which allows you to get the light where you need it while ensuring the solar panel can be mounted in a good location. The light emits power equivalent to a 50 watt incandescent bulb as you might use in the home. When you require light, simply press the button on the face of the light unit to turn it on. The first push will turn all 36 LED bulbs on. Pushing again will operate the 24 outer LED bulbs only. A third push will operate the inner 12 LED bulbs only. Another push will turn the light off.
Installation is easy, with no mains wiring. The 1.5W solar panel charges the rechargeable batteries during the day to provide up to 7 hours use when full charged, depending on brightness level required.
Running time depends on the exposure of the panel to the sun and it varies with the seasons. Longer summer days provide the best charge. Sunny weather provides more charge than cloudy weather. For maximum running time the solar panel should be positioned in full sunlight away from cover or shade.
